Hi there, I'm not sure of her name, but I know she is one of the managers, at the Mill Stores. I wanted to thank her for bringing a picnic table to my house for me!' She knew the car I had wasn't safe/strong enough to get it home, and really cared about our safety. She took time out of her day to help us, and we really appreciate her genuine gesture. We love our table, and will definitely be back for other things. Thanks so much. The Millers I am sending 3 pictures of items, that I have purchased at your Plymouth store. The first is a corner TV cabinet, second is a coffee table, and third is a pair of youth chairs, for my grandchildren. I finished them myself, and was very pleased with the finished pieces. Rena I was looking for shelving, for an unusual space, and purchased one of your four foot oak units. I stained it to match the surrounding cabinets, and it became additional storage in a very small kitchen. The bookcase tucks behind a cabinet, and rests on a shelf below it. It was the perfect fit for the space, good quality, and took the stain to match the cabinets well. Eileen My kitchen was recently done over, using mostly all Mill Store products. (I wish you carried unfinished cabinets too!) We purchased an island table and 2 pantry cabinets (one with all doors, and the other with just a shelf to display my cookbooks, TV, etc.) We stained them in an olive green, and they look outstanding!! I love these pieces, and we receive many compliments. In addition, we purchased the stools in black, as a nice accent; from Mill Stores as well! I love your store, and am forever in there purchasing items. Heather I bought the unfinished end tables, because I could not find oak storage end tables, at any furniture store. After bringing it home, I wasn't sure my work would even compare to the work that you do every day. To our delight, the project came out beautifully! Doug After months of searching for a loft bed, for my daughter, I decided to buy a bunk bed from the Mill Stores, and make it what we wanted. Quality product, quality price! Thank you Mill Stores. We have purchased many items, and are sending pictures of a few of our favorites. Everyone that comes into our home thinks they are beautiful. Grace We bought and finished a dresser and a nightstand from the Mill Stores. We are so happy with the quality of the furniture, and with the way that it came out, that we plan to complete our bedroom set, by adding another dresser and nightstand, as well as the head and foot boards, for our bed. Kerri and Chris We recently refinished our basement, and combined the Oak Media Center with a couple of Wall Units 33-1683. The units worked out very nicely, and are a perfect size for our 40" Sony Home Theater System. The kids love their new space, and Dad has enjoyed many ball games in the Family Room. Christopher Hi, I just wanted to send a note thanking Harry and Pete Fitzgerald, from the Canton store, for coming out to my home in Milton, and repairing my kids' swing set. Pete spent several hours replacing the parts, and came back a second time to finish up.I can't thank you enough for going above and beyond the manufacturer's warranty. We are really appreciative, and will always come back to the Mill Stores for that reason! The Morris Family For many years, I have been shopping at your Dennisport location. In fact, when I was a kid I went miniature golfing with my family, and always went shopping in the funky looking building remember the Quoddy moccasins? Penny candy? Silly knotty pine knick-knacks? (who over 45 doesn't remember the novelty dog house with the hooks my brother was always in the dog house!) I have a seasonal cottage there, and the Mill Stores, along with a trip to Benny 's, is always on my spring list. The golf course is still beautiful. Nothing on the cape compares to it. Over the years, the selection and quality is still there. I cannot begin to tell you how much I buy there every year. It may be as small as a quart of paint, or a stencil; sometimes it is furniture. (I am there many times over the season) no matter what it is, I get the same quality service that my parents got back in the 60 's. The store has always been run well. It is well staffed, and the staff has always gone out of their way to help me, and other customers. It is a nice balance of leaving you alone to decide (I hate a pushy clerk) to helping you out to the car. I do not want to single anyone out, because I believe everyone in that store is equally helpful. Here is an example of good service. This past Wednesday, I was in the Dennisport Store, and I bought 2 window boxes. The clerk asked me if I needed brackets to go with them. I already had some, so I said no. (but, good suggestion - good sales pitch!) He wanted to help me to my car, but I was fine. When I got to my cottage, I had bought the wrong size too small. Plus the brackets I had were rusting. Back I went (I HATE returning things!) I was greeted by Bob, (another sales clerk), no hassle returning them. In fact, I needed 3 window boxes, he fussed through the selection, as if he were picking them out for himself! I liked that a lot! I ended up getting 4 wooden brackets; it was not a huge sale, but I was treated like I bought hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise! Bob wanted to help me to my car again; I declined, but it was nice he offered. Lately, at other assorted stores, I get asked to call an 800 number, to give a survey. In return, I can win a prize. My motivation here is to tell the powers that be you have great associates in your Dennisport Store. It is good old fashion customer service; sensible, courteous, well informed... I thought they should be singled out. The silly novelty gifts from my childhood are gone, but the great service from years ago is still there. Nice job everyone! I just wanted to let you know what a pleasure it was to do business with all the people in that store. For five years I have been slowly purchasing pieces for my Maine home and going there was then and still is now such a pleasure. Toni I just wanted to thank Jim and others at the Malden store for being really helpful with purchasing items and taking special considerations for my orders.
We recently purchased a stained tv stand which compliment our new living room set beautifully. The compliments that we've received are overwhelming. Thank you so much for a wonderful product. Will visit again soon. We just picked up our new hardwood TV stand yesterday (on sale in the current flyer). Since I bought it in anticipation of replacing an older TV with a new widescreen LCD TV (and needing a new entertainment center solution), it is currently parked in my kitchen, where today it saw excellent service as a buffet server. NICE! I saw a dining set in an upscale furniture store, but it was way out of my budget. A friend told me to go to the Mill Store. When I visited the store in Plymouth, I found chairs that were very similar in style and color. "Phil" helped me match the color for the table exectly. My new set
was delivered a few days ago, and it is beautiful! For about 20% of the cost of the upscale set, (and this includes tax and delivery!) I couldn't be happier.
